Notes: The "G" column shows the "Gamerscore" points for unlocking Achievements.
All Achievements are unlocked in Single-player games except for DESTROYER and ROOKIE, which are only unlocked in Deathmatch-mode games played on Xbox Live.
In general, unlocks only occur after players exit a map or complete an Episode.
Difficulty 1 is "I'm too young to die!", Difficulty 2 is "Hey, not too rough!", Difficulty 3 is "Hurt me plenty!", Difficulty 4 is "Ultra-Violence", Difficulty 5 is "Nightmare".
Note that Lost Souls ("flying skulls") are not counted when computing the Kills score. As such, the CLEAN SLATE Achievement can be unlocked on any map even if Lost Souls remain when the player exits.
Unlocking the CLEAN SLATE Achievement can also unlock a "Marine" Gamer Picture, which can be used when customizing Player Profiles. (This picture is unlocked if a "KILLS 100%" score is attained at any time.)
In order for "Frags" to be counted for the DESTROYER or ROOKIE Achievement, a Deathmatch game must reach a Fraglimit or Timelimit, and end by displaying the Tally Screen. (Frags are not counted for a Deathmatch player unless the Tally Screen at the end of the match is displayed for that player.)
For the EPISODE and RAMPAGE Achievements, it is not necessary to find or exit any Secret map (every Episode has 8 "regular" maps and 1 Secret map, which is accessible via a second, hidden exit on one of the regular maps). For a list of maps and their interconnections access: http://classicdoom.com/doomexit.htm
For the HOARDER Achievement, "Items" include only Berserk Packs, Blur Artifacts (also called Partial Invisibility), Computer Maps (also called Computer Area Map), Health Potions (blue bottle, also called Health Bonus), Invulnerability Artifacts (green sphere), Light Amplification Visors, Soul Spheres (blue sphere, also called Supercharge) and Spiritual Armor (green helmet, also called Armor Bonus); All other objects in the game can be ignored.
Unlocking the NIGHTMARE Achievement also unlocks a "Demon" Gamer Picture, which can be used when customizing Player Profiles.
To unlock the SCOUT Achievement a player must step onto any horizontal surface that is flagged as a score-affecting secret area. For more information on score-affecting secrets in Doom games access: http://classicdoom.com/maxsec.htm
