1. Asked Questions
==================

Question: Is there a warp to level cheat in this game?
Answer: No, there is no warp level cheat. In the first Doom on the GameBoy
Advance version, there was a cheat to warp to the next level or warp ahead 10
levels, but it's not in this game for god knows why.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Question: Why is this game so hard to find!
Answer: I have always had trouble finding this game myself until I was really
lucky and found it at Gamestop for $25. But they stopped shipping this game to
stores unless you're really lucky to find it used on the shelves. If you can't
find it, Ebay is one of your only hopes. Just watch out for those fake bootleg
copies, and these are the ones usually below $20.

3. Enemies
==========

Zombieman: The first enemy you see. They use a pistol for attacking and they
are pretty weak. Use about any weapon on them. First found in Level 1:
Entryway. They also drop a clip that you can pick up.

Shotgun Guy: A tad stronger than the Zombieman, but these get pretty annoying.
They use a Shotgun for attacking and it really hurts. Any weapon can get rid of
them quickly. First found on Level 2: Underhalls. You can also pick up their
Shotgun when you kill them.

Heavy Weapon Dude: These are really annoying. They use a Chaingun to attack you
and if you're not quick enough, they can take you down in no time. Use a
Shotgun or better to take these down. At least you can pick up their Chaingun
when you kill them. First found in Level 3: The Gantlet.

Imp: These use fireballs for attacking, and they are pretty easy to dodge. If
they are up close to you, they'll scratch you. First found on Level 1:
Entryway. Use a Pistol or better to get rid of these.

Demon: These enemies are pretty easy to get rid of. They have to get up close
to attack you, but their bite can really hurt on hard skill levels. Use a
Chainsaw or a Chaingun to take these down without a problem. First found on
Level 2: Underhalls.

Spectre: Like the Demon, but these are invisible, so watch out in dark areas.
First found in Level 3: The Gantlet.

Lost Soul: Now these can get really annoying. They fly in the air and they
charge at you and bite at you to attack. To keep these guys away, use a
Chaingun to get rid of them. First found in Level 5: The Waste Tunnels.

Cacodemon: These are large red flying enemies in the air. They fire fireballs
at you which can be dodged easily. Use a Chainsaw or Chaningun to take these
down easily. First found in Level 5: The Waste Tunnels.

Hell Knight: These are enemies on two legs. They through green slime balls at
you, and they can be dodged easily. They also can be powerful on hard skill
levels. Use a Super Shotgun or better to take these down. First found on Level
6: The Crusher.

Baron of Hell: These are more powerful and stronger than the Hell Knights.
Another difference is that these are darker than the Hell Knights, so they are
noticeable. Their green slimeballs can hurt really bad, but you shouldn't have
a lot of problems dodging them. They also need a lot to be taken down. Use a
Super Shotgun or better. First found in Level 8: Tricks and Traps.

Arachnotron: These are spider enemies that shoot small energy cells at you.
They can be powerful and annoying, so watch out. Use a Super Shotgun or better
to take these down. First found in level 7: Dead Simple.

Pain Elemental: These guys are possibly the most annoying enemy in the game.
They cannot attack, but they fire Lost Souls at you, and if you're not quick,
you can waste a lot of ammo on the Lost Souls. Use a Super Shotgun or better to
take these down. First found in Level 8: Tricks and Traps.

Revenant: Another annoying enemy. They fire homing missiles at you and these
may kill you in one hit on harder skill levels. If you're up close to them,
they'll punch you. Use a Super Shotgun or better to take these down. First
found in Level 6: The Crusher.

Mancubus: These guys pump missiles at you which are a bit tricky to dodge. A
good thing is they're a fat and easy target. Use a Super Shotgun or better to
take these down. First found in Level 7: Dead Simple.

Arch-vile: A deadly enemy. They can take 2 BFG hits to get rid of and they can
revive dead monsters. If they attack you, you'll hear a sound, and that means
to get out of the Arch-vile's sight. If he can't see you, he can't hit you. Use
a Super Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, or better to take these down. First found in
Level 11: Circle of Death.

Cyberdemon: One of the strongest enemies in the game. They are tall goat-like
monsters on two legs (one is metal). They fire rockets at you for attacking,
and they are very powerful, so dodge them every time you can. Use a Rocket
Launcher or better to take these down. First found in Level 8: Tricks and
Traps.

Spider Mastermind: Just like Arachnotrons, except these are larger and use a
Chaingun to attack you (like the Heavy Weapon Dudes). Use a Rocket Launcher or
better to take these down. First found in Level 6: The Crusher (hard skill
levels) or Level 20: Gotcha! (easy skill levels).

SS Officer: This is only found in the U.S. version of Doom II. This is because
anything that has to do with Nazis is forbidden by law in Germany, so they had
to cut this in the German version of Doom II. They are about the size of a
Shotgun Guy with the blue uniform on from Wolfenstein 3D. To attack you, they
fire a pistol at you which sounds like a Shotgun. They drop a clip when they
attack you, and it does not hurt you a lot. Use any weapon to take down these
weak soldiers. Only found in Level 33: Wolfenstein and Level 34: Grosse.

Commander Keen: Also found in the U.S. version of Doom II, as it is found in a
level with SS Officers in it. Also from the Commander Keen series. They are
little guys hanging from the ceiling at the end of Level 34: Grosse. Just one
shot from the Super Shotgun can take out all 4 of them. Once all of them are
dead, you can exit the level. They do not attack you as well.

==========
4. Weapons
==========

Fist: You'll always have this with you, as this is your fist. It's really weak,
so use it on Zombiemen only to spare some ammo. But if you get a Berserk, it
really powers up and can take down some enemies in 1-3 hits.

Chainsaw: Hm, I wonder why it's batteries never run out. This is pretty useful,
and if you use it on some enemies, they won't be able to attack you. Best used
on Demons, Spectres, and Cacodemons. You'll right it right next to you in Level
1: Entryway.

Pistol: You start out every weapon with this level, even if you die. It's
pretty weak, so use it on Zombiemen, Shotgun Guys, and Imps. Uses 200 bullets
maximum.

Shotgun: A powerful weapon you can get early in the game. This can knock out
weak enemies in 1 hit, and others with at least 3. Use this on Zombiemen,
Shotgun Guys, Imps, Heavy Weapon Dudes, and Demons. First found in Level 1:
Entryway. Uses 50 shells maximum.

Super Shotgun: An extremely powerful weapon you get pretty early in the game.
This can knock out plenty of enemies in 1-3 hits. Use this on any enemies
weaker than the Cyberdemon. Uses 50 shells maximum. First found in Level 2:
Underhalls.

Chaingun: A machine gun that uses the same bullets as a pistol. This fires
multiple rounds at a time, and this is good for enemies like the Demon and
Cacodemon. Can also take down some enemies quickly. First found in Level 3: The
Gantlet.

Rocket Launcher: A really awesome weapon you can get in Level 1: Entryway (a
Rocket Launcher appears in Level 1???). It can take out a group of weak enemies
in 1 hit, and most other enemies in 1-3 hits. Watch out, if you're just about
right next to the rocket detonation, you can be hurt/killed.

Plasma Gun: Just like the Chaingun, this is a machine gun, except it uses
cells, and it is more powerful. This can take down any enemy quickly, and fires
pretty fast. Use this on any enemy except the Spider Mastermind or the
Cyberdemon, where the cell projectiles may get in the way and you won't be able
to see, where they can get a cheap hit on you. Uses 300 cells maximum. First
found in Level 5: The Waste Tunnels.

BFG9000: The most powerful weapon in the game. I hate it personally (in Doom
online, that is). This can knock out any enemy in one hit, and a Spider
Mastermind or Cyberdemon in two, but watch out: it uses 40 cells per shot. Use
this on any enemy. First found in Level 8: Tricks and Traps.

6. Items
========

------------
Health Items
------------

A * means that picking it up adds to your item score at the end of the level.

Stimpack: Adds 10% health to your health total. You cannot go over 100% health
using these

Medikit: Adds 25% health to your health. You cannot go over 100% health using
these.

*Health Potion: Adds 2% health to your health total. You can go over 100%
health using these.

*Armor Bonus: 2% armor to your armor. You can go over 100% armor using these.

*Berserk: One of my favorite items in the game. When you pick this up, it sets
your health to 100% (unless it's over 100%), and it will power up your fist as
well. It'll be powerful to take down many enemies in 1-3 hits. During this
time, your screen will be red for a few seconds and your Berserk power will
last until the end of the level.

Green Armor: Sets your armor to 100%.

Blue Armor: Sets your armor to 200%.

*Soulsphere: This adds 100% health to your health total. You can go up to 200%
health maximum and this is extremely useful at times (if you use it correctly
by having a good amount of health, that is).

*Megasphere: One of the best items in the game. This sets your health and armor
at 200%, which is extremely useful. Don't use these when you have a high amount
of health and armor.

----
Ammo
----

Pistol/Chaingun:

Clip: 5 bullets on hard skill levels, 10 on easy
Box of Bullets: 50 on hard skill levels, 100 on easy

Shotguns:

Shotgun Shells: 4 shells on hard skill levels, 8 on easy
Box of Shotgun Shells: 20 shells on hard skill levels, 40 on easy.

Rocket Launcher:

Rocket: 1 rocket on hard skill levels, 2 on easy
Box of Rockets: 5 rockets on hard skill levels, 10 on easy.

Plasma Gun/BFG:

Cell Pack: 20 cells on hard skill levels, 40 on easy
Energy Cell Pack: 100 cells on hard skill levels, 200 on easy

Backpack: Get this when you see one. This will double up the maximum ammo you
can have (400 bullets, 100 shells, 100 rockets, and 600 cells), and you can
hold a lot more ammo for the big fights. This also comes with ammo, and you can
only double your ammo limit once.

---------
Power-Ups
---------

Light Amplification Visors: When you pick one of these up, it will brighten up
the entire level for a while. These are really useful in dark places, and they
can light up areas you can't see very well.

Radiation Suit: When you pick up these, your screen will be green for a short
amount of time. During this time, you will be able to cross toxic pits without
being hurt. Really useful for areas with a lot of toxic pits, like the Chasm.

Invisibility Sphere: When you pick up one of these, you will be a bit
invisible. When enemies try to attack you, their attacks may be less accurate
than normal. I really don't like this item, it tends to mess up my dodging when
enemies attack me. The effect wears off when your gun is no longer blurry.

Invincibility Sphere: When you pick up one of these, you will become Invincible
and your screen will be white for a short amount of time. During this time, you
cannot be hit from anything (includes toxic pits and crushing ceilings). The
effect wears off when your screen goes back to normal.

----
Keys
----

Keycards/Skull Keys: These come in 3 colors: Red, blue, and yellow. Some levels
don't have certain keys, some have none at all. You need the keys to open some
locked doors, hit switches, etc.

When you start the level, pick up the Chainsaw to your left. Now, go back to
where you started and drop down to the floor below you. Down here, kill the
Zombiemen, and collect their clips. Now, head up the stairs in this room, and
go through the opening. In here, turn right, and kill the Zombiemen in front of
you. Now, facing the Health Potions (don't collect them yet), you'll see an
opening to your left and right. Go through the one to your right. In here, go
through the opening across from you.

In here, hit the switch to your right, and a lift will lower. Now get on it,
and ride it to the top. Up here, kill the Imps, and face the wall. Press A and
it should open, revealing an Imp and a switch. Now, kill the Imp and hit the
switch, then turn around. See that platform sticking out of the floor in front
of you? Jump off the platform and try to land on it ("Always Run" should be
on). If you miss it, get back on the lift and try again, and it you land on it,
get off it, and go back to where the Health Potions are.

Collect the Health Potions and you'll notice a new opening. Go in it and get
the Rocket Launcher. Now, go back to the room where the lift was. Back in here,
face the exit door near the cage with the Imp. Facing the exit door, turn
around. You should see an opening. Go through it. Out here, get the Shotgun and
the Shotgun Shells, ignoring the Imps. Now, get back to the exit door. Back in
here, open the exit door, and go through. In here, kill the Imp, get the
Medikits and clip, and hit the exit switch.

the floor below you) until you bump into a wall. When you bump into a wall,
turn right, and you should see an opening across from you. Facing the opening,
back up, and *run* across the gap into the opening (you need Always Run on). In
here, kill the Shotgun Guys and head up the stairs to the right. At the top,
get the Red Key.

When you have the Red Key, turn left, and press A on the wall in front of you.
It should open, so go through. In here kill the Shotgun Guys, get their

teleported back to the level's starting point. Back here, open the door at the
other end of the room, and go through. In here, open the Red Door to the right,
and hit the switch. Now leave this room. Back in here, go through the new

Level 6: The Crusher
--------------------

When you start the level, kill any Shotgun Guys in front of you, and go to the
opening at the other end of the room. Don't go through it yet, read this:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you are playing on Skill levels "I'm Too Young to Die", or "Hey, Not Too
Rough", go through the opening. In here, the lift you're on will lower. When it
reaches the floor, go through the opening to your right. In here, head up the
stairs to your left. At the top, kill the Hell Knights, get the Plasma Gun, and
get the Blue Key.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you are playing on the Skill level "Hurt Me Plenty", go through the opening
and the lift you're on will lower. Now, stay on it until it rises back to the
top. Back up here, turn left. You'll see an opening in front of you. With
"Always Run" on, run through it, and try to land on the platform across from
you. On here, get the Blue Key.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you are playing on the Skill level "Nightmare", get on the lift, and wait
for it to rise back to the top again. Back up here, turn left and face the
opening. Now, run through it to get on the platform. On the platform you'll see
a switch in front of you. Before you hit it, turn right. See that Blue Key on
the platform across from you? Now hit the switch, and the platform the Blue Key
is on will lower. Now, *RUN* to the Blue Key before the platform raises, then
pick it up.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once you have the Blue Key, get back in the lift (players on skill levels Hurt
Plenty and Nightmare will have to go through the opening and use the teleporter
in the toxic pit). At the lift, you'll notice an opening between two bars. Go
through it, and press A to lower the lift. Now get on it, and ride it to the
top. Up here, go through the opening to your left. Back in here, open the Blue
Door in this room, and go through. In here, hit the switch to your left, and
the lift behind you will lower. Now get on it, and ride it to the top.

Up here, follow this hall to a door (skip the opening to your right). When you
get to a door, open it, and go through. In here, hit the switch to your right,
and the lift to your left will lower. Now drop down to the floor below you.
Down here, open the door in front of you, and go through. In here, head up the
stairs in front of you, and follow them to the top. About half way a wall to
your right will lower, revealing some Lost Souls and a Red Key. Get the Red

Down here, kill the Shotgun Guys in front of you, and go through the opening in
front of you. In here, kill the Revenant on the pillar and kill all the Imps
and Heavy Weapon Dudes around you. Now, see that gray wall in between the
brown walls? Press A to lower it, revealing an opening. In here, search this
room for a teleporter, killing any Shotgun Guys, Heavy Weapon Dudes, or Hell
Knights in here. Collect the Energy Cells as well. Once you find the
teleporter, step on it. When you teleport, kill the Lost Souls in front of you.
Now, get the Blue Key, and drop down to the floor to the right. Down here, kill
the Spectres and Arachnotrons, and head up the stairs. At the top, turn around.

See those platforms leading to the Megasphere? Destroy the barrel and use the
platforms to get to the Megasphere. Once you get to it, pick it up. Now, drop
down to the pit to the left, and head back up the stairs. Back up here, walk up
to the wall in front of you and it should open, so go through. In here, go all
the way straight to the lava pit at the other end of the room. In here is a
teleporter. Step on it. You'll be teleported back to the level's starting
point. Back in here, drop back down to the floor below you. Down here, head
straight, and go back through the opening. In here, lower the gray wall across
from you. Now, get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, turn right, and
follow the left hand wall to a Blue Door.

Once you see the Blue Door, open it, and go through. In here, kill the Imps,
Shotgun Guys, and Heavy Weapon Dudes. Now, go through the opening at the other
end of the room. In here, lower the lift in front of you. Now get on it, and
ride it to the top. Up here, kill the Hell Knight in front of you, and head
down the stairs in front of you. Down here, walk to the wall in front of you,
and the lift you're on will lower. Down here, the lift in front of you as also
lowered, so ride it to the top. Up here you'll be in a room with a lot of
pillars. One of the pillars to the left has a switch on it. Hit it, and the
wall in the middle of the room will lower, revealing the exit teleporter. Step
on it.

Level 28: The Abandoned Mines
-----------------------------

When you start the level, hit the switch in front of you, and the floor you're
on will lower. Down here, go all the way straight until you get to a wall,
killing any Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. Once you get to a wall, turn left,
and head up the stairs. At the top, hit the switch in front of you. Now, turn
around and head back down the stairs, killing any Cacodemons in your way. Back
in here, go through the new opening to your left. In here, follow this pathway
to the Red Key, grabbing the Medikits and killing the Imps. Once you get the
Red Key, go back to the opening you used to go in this room. It should be
closed, so hit the switch next to it to open it up. Now, go through it.

Back in here, go straight and you'll see an opening to your right. Once you see
it, go through it. In here, open the Red Door in front of you, and go through.
In here, cross the lava pit and go through the opening across from you. In
here, the floor in front of you will raise, revealing a Blue Key and a Baron of
Hell. Kill the Baron of Hell, get the Blue Key, and go back to the Red Door.
Open it, and go through. In here, go all the way straight to the opening across
from you. Once you get to it, go through it. In here, follow this curved
pathway to the Blue Door. Once you get to it, open it, and go through. In here,
go to the other end of the room. Over here, use the pathway to get the Yellow
Key in the middle of the room.

Now, open the Blue Door, and leave this room. Back in here, follow this pathway
back to the opening. Once you get to it, go through it. In here, go through the
opening to your right. In here, head up the stairs to the left. At the top,
open the Yellow Bar, then open the exit door, and go through. In here, step on
the exit teleporter.

Level 29: Monster Condo
-----------------------

When you start the level, go right and you should see a door. Open it and go
through. In here, pick up the Rocket in front of you. The walls around you will
lower, revealing Zombiemen. Kill them all, and get to the switch at the other
end of the room. Over here, hit the switch and it will open like a door, so go
through. In here, get the Yellow Key and kill the Hell Knight. Now, hit the
switch next to where the Yellow Key was and turn around. Hit the switch in
front of you and a wall to your left will lower, revealing another switch. Hit
it, and a door here will open, so leave this room. Back out here, leave this
room.

Back in the level's starting point, turn right. See that spiral staircase in
front of you? At the top is a Rocket Launcher. Grab it and turn around. See
that platform in front of you? From here, *RUN* onto it. On here, open the
door, and go through. In here, go straight until you see a switch to your left.
Once you see a switch, hit it, and the floor you're on will lower. Down here,
kill the Demons, open the door, and go through. In here, open the Yellow Door
to your right, and go through. In here, use either staircase to get to the
other end of the room. Over here, get the Blue Key. See that demon face symbol
on the wall in front of you? Use your Fist to open it (save ammo), and it will
open, so go through.

In here, collect the Energy Cells and kill the Mancubi. Now hit the switch here
and the Yellow Door will open, so leave (do NOT step on the tile in the middle
of the room!). Back out here, hit the switch to your right and steps to your
left will raise, so head up them. At the top, open the door to your left, and
go through. Back in here, go all the way straight until you see a Blue Door to
your left. Once you see it, open it and go through. In here, hit the switch in
front of you. Now turn around. The pillar in the middle of the room has
lowered, revealing Barons of Hell and a Red Key. Get the Red Key, open the door
to the left of the Blue Door, and go through.

In here, you'll find two switches. Hit the one on the left, and the floor
you're on will lower. Down here, get the Soulsphere, and go through the opening
to your left. In here, open the Red Door in front of you, and go through. In
here, step on the exit teleporter.

Level 30: The Spirit World
--------------------------

From your starting point, go in the opening across from you. In here, follow
this hall to another opening, and before you get to it, you'll see Imps,
Demons, and Pain Elementals. Kill all of what you see. When the enemies are
gone, go through the opening and drop down.

Down here, you'll see a small lava river in front of you. Get to the left of
it, and when you do, follow this lava river to a small opening (staying on the
left, and the opening has a red wall behind in). Get in the small opening, and
drop down to the floor below you.

Down here, equip your BFG, and follow this hall to an opening. Go through the
opening, and in this room, go right, and drop down to the floor below you. If
you are playing on high skill levels, you'll see a Spider Mastermind in front
of you. Use your BFG to kill it too. When the Mastermind is gone, go straight
until you see an opening to the right. Go through it, and head up the stairs.

In this room, go right, and get to the other end of the room. Over here you'll
see the weird looking "chair" in front of a wall that has a Demon Head on it.
"Sit" on the chair (get on it). When you hop on the "Chair", turn around. The
platform in the middle of the room has lowered. Get on it, and it will raise
again.

Once it raises as high as it can go, face the "chair" and turn left. You'll see
a wall of skull heads right next to you. You'll notice one of them has Red
Eyes. Walk up to it and press the Spacebar. When you do, drop down to the floor
on your right. Down here again, go straight and you'll see an opening to your
right. Go through it and pick up the Yellow Key.

Once you have the Yellow Key, turn around, and go left, to the other end of the
room. Over here, go through the opening and head down the stairs. Down here,
kill any Arachnotrons or Spider Masterminds in front of you with your BFG (you
can use the Invincibility Spheres down here too if you need too), and once all
of the enemies down here are dead, open the Yellow Door in this room.

In here, go up the stairs. At the top is this funky colored wall. Press the
Spacebar on it, and it will open. When it opens, kill any Hell Knights or
Revenants in front of you. Then go straight until you see an opening to your
left. Go through it. In here, go right. Over here, you'll see white walls to
the left, and you'll also see lava in between the white walls too.

Walk up to the lava, and press the Spacebar (it's a lift, and it will lower).
When it lowers, get on the lava, and when it raises again, go all the way
straight to the platform across from you that has Green Torches up top (it's
too high to get on, but now there is a new lift to your right that you can use
it to get on it).

When you get to the wall/platform, go right and lower the lift (it has skull
heads on it too). When it lowers, get on it, and when it rises to the top
again, follow this hall back to the level's starting room. In this room, open
the Yellow Door. Once the door is open, pick up the Red Key in front of you.

Once you got the Red Key, turn around and go through the opening in front of
you before you get caught in a major Revenant jam. In this hall again, follow
it to the same opening, and drop down to the floor below you again. Down here,
follow the right wall to a small opening. You'll know it's the right opening if
Demons are coming out of the wall.

When you're in the right opening, kill the Demons that come out of the wall.
When the Demons are dead, walk through the wall they came out of (you can walk
through this wall), and in this room, kill the Demons and Spectres in front of
you, and grab the health and ammo in here. When the Demons and Spectres are
gone, go through the opening in this room. In here, look right, facing the
wall.

One of the walls in front of you has a big circle on hit. Shoot it with your
Fist, Chainsaw, Pistol, either Shotgun, or your Chaingun. Once you hit that
part of the wall, turn left, and a door will open. Go through the new opening.
In here, open the Red Door (it's a switch) before any Revenants or Archviles
get you. Once you open the Red Door, go straight, and go through the exit
teleporter.

------------------------
Level 31: The Living End
------------------------

From your starting point, go straight and get the Medikit and Chaingun across
from you. Once you step on the floor they're on, it will lower. Down here, kill
the Imps/Shotgun Guys/Heavy Weapon Dudes/Spectres. When they're all gone, take
their weapons, and get the Medikit here. Then, hit the only switch down here.
Once you hit it, turn right. You should see a pathway rising.

Once the pathway fully rises, kill the Shotgun Guy on it, and get the Armor on
it too. Then, take this pathway to another room. In here, kill all of the Imps
in front of you. When all of the Imps are dead, switch to your Automap. See the
north part of this room on it? When you do, switch back to first person mode,
and get to the north part of this room. When you do, walk up to the Box of
Shotgun Shells, and when you do, turn around. Part of the building in front of
you has opened, revealing a switch. Go straight and hit it.

When you hit the switch, turn around. Now kill the Pain Elementals and
Cacodemons in front of you (use Rocket Launcher, Plasma Gun, or BFG). When all
of the enemies are gone, go into the room the came out of. In here, turn right,
and get on the pathway. Follow this pathway to a teleporter, killing any Heavy
Weapon Dudes or Imps in your way. When you get to the teleporter, take it.

Once you teleport, collect the health and armor around you, and climb up the
staircase (watch out, it is a little bit curved). At the top, follow this
hallway to a pedestal, killing any Imps or Revenants in your way. When you get
to the pedestal, walk up to it, and turn around. Part of the wall in front of
you should've opened. Go into the new opening across from you.

In here, get to the other end of the room. Over here, kill the Hell Knights,
and hit the switch. Now turn around and exit this room. Back out here, turn
left. You'll see that the pedestal has been removed. Now, get to where it was,
and when you do, back up a little bit, and then *run* straight to get to the
platform across from you. On this platform, kill the Hell Knight, and pick up
the Soulsphere.

Also on this platform, hit the switch. When you do, parts of the walls around
you will open, revealing Cacodemons. Kill all of them. When all of the
Cacodemons are gone, wait for the pathway to raise up to this platform (the
pathway is going to be to the left of the switch you hit).

Once the pathway raises up here, take it. It will lead you to three openings.
Take the one in the middle first. In here, drop down to the pit in front of
you, and go straight to the switch. Hit it. When you do, a pathway behind you
will rise. Get to the pathway, and press the spacebar to lower it. Now get on
it (kill the Cacodemon if you need to). Ride it to the top.

With the new pathway created, take it to the new opening. Now pick up the Super
Shotgun, and kill the Cacodemons and Pain Elementals in front of you. When the
enemies are gone, drop down to the pit below you, and go through the opening to
your left. In here, hit the switch. Once you hit the switch, a new pathway
behind you will raise. Walk up to it, and press the spacebar on it to lower it.

Before you get on the new pathway, go straight and get to the opening across
from you. In here, hit the switch. Now turn back around and lower the pathway
again. Ride it to the top, and when it raises again, follow it to a new
opening. In here, follow this pathway to another room.

In this room, kill the Mancubus. Now hit the switch in here. Once you hit the
switch, leave this room (keep following the pathways to the pathway that leads
to three openings). Back out here, go right, then right again, through this
opening. In here, kill the Shotgun Guys and Imps in front of you. Down here,
hit the only switch in this room.

When you do, turn around. You should see the floor raise (it's a lift too).
Walk up to the raised floor, and press the spacebar to lower it. When it gets
down to the ground, get on it, then ride it to the top. Up here, kill the
Archvile in front of you, and go into the room it came out of.

In this room, hit the only switch in here. Now leave this room. Back in here,
follow this pathway to an opening. Go through it. In here, follow this hall to
an opening to your left. Go through it, and go straight, crossing the new
pathway. At the end of the pathway, go into the room in front of you, and hit
the switch.

When you hit the switch, turn around, and get on the pathway. Now drop down to
the left, and leave this room. Back out here, go all the way left, then left
again, into the only opening we haven't gone through yet. In here, go straight,
and open the door. In here, walk up to the wall in the center of the room. On
the left part of the wall, there are scratches.

Walk up to the scratches, and press the Spacebar. The wall will open, and in
this room, grab the health and ammo, and go through the teleporter. In this
room, kill the Revenants, Shotgun Guys, and Zombiemen in front of you. When
they're all gone, walk up the stairs in front of you. At the top you should see
3 pathways. Get in center with the one in the middle, back up, and *run*
straight to get to the pathway.

Once you're on the pathway, follow it to another platform, killing any Shotgun
Guys in your way. When you can see the platform, kill the Revenant on it, and
when it's gone, get on the platform it's on, and hit the switch. Now get back
on the pathway, and on the end of it, drop down in the pit to the right. Down
here, go straight, and when you get to the lift at the end of the room (it's to
the left), lower it and get on it. Ride it to the top.

Up here again, turn around, facing the three pathways. Now back up, and *run*
to get the one on the left. Follow it to a platform with a Pain Elemental on
it, killing any Shotgun Guys in your way. When you get to the platform, kill
the Pain Elemental on it, then get on the platform it was on. Hit the switch on
it. Now turn around, get on the pathway, and get to the end of it.

When you do, drop down to the right, get to the lift, and lower it. Ride it to
the top. Up here again, face the three pathways again, and this time, get on
the one to the right (like the other two, run to get on it). Once you get on
this pathway, turn right. You'll see an opening. Back up, and *run* through the
opening to get to the platform across from you.

On this platform, kill the Mancubus. When it's dead, hit the switch on this
platform, lower the lift to your right. Get on it, and ride it to the top. At
the top, turn right. Once you turn right, *run* straight to get across the gap,
and to get back in the room across from you. In here, turn right, and take the
pathway to the right again. Follow this pathway to another pathway (they aren't
connected). When you see the new pathway, get in center with it, and *run*
across the gap to get on the pathway. On this one, kill the Barons of Hell in
front of you, and when they're gone, get on the pathway they were on, and take
the teleporter.

When you teleport, head up the stairs in front of you. Follow them to a higher
platform. At the top, get to the other end of the room, and go through the exit
teleporter (do not fall in the pit in the middle, it contains a Cyberdemon, and
this pit will raise to the top, so hurry up and exit this level).

Level 32: Icon of Sin
---------------------

Congratulations, you have made it to the final level of Doom II! Anyways, when
you start this level, you start standing on a Backpack. Collect all of the
weapons in this room, all of the ammo, and the Megasphere. Now go through the
teleporter in this room. When you teleport, the final boss of the game is
across from you (it's a large demon head on the wall).

The final boss also shoots out skull headed boxes from it's brain, containing
an enemy (it won't be a Zombieman, Shotgun Guy, Heavy Weapon Dude, Lost Soul,
Spider Mastermind, or Cyberdemon).

Also, go left, and then at the end of this platform, go left again. You should
see a Demon Head figure on the wall. Press the spacebar on it, and the platform
will lower. On this platform, go all the way straight, and you should see
another Demon Head figure on the wall. Press the spacebar on this figure and
the platform will lower. On this platform, wait for it to raise to the top. At
the top, go through the only opening up here. In this opening, hit the switch.

Now turn around. You should see a pillar rising. Wait for it to get as high as
it can go, and try to kill any enemies distracting you. Once the pillar gets as
high as it goes, go all the way straight, to the pillar, and press the Spacebar
to lower it. When it gets to the ground, get on it, and equip your Rocket
Launcher (it's the only weapon that can defeat the final boss). Now, facing the
final boss, wait for the pillar to raise again.

See the final boss's brain? As the pillar is raising, time your Rockets just
right so it can get through the brain (you'll hear a loud scream). Weather you
get it through or miss, get to the ground, lower the pillar again, and keep
firing your Rockets into his brain. Now, on the GBA version, it should only
take 1 hit to get rid of it.

Once you defeat the final boss, congratulations! You also get a story too:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The horrendous visage of the biggest demon you've ever seen crumbles before
you, as you pump your rockets through his exposed brain. The monster shrivels
up and dies, its thrashing limbs devastating untold miles of Hell's surface.
You've done it. The invasion is over. Earth is saved. Hell is a wreck. You
wonder where the bad folks will go when they die, now. Wiping the sweat from
your forehead you begin the long trek back home. Rebuilding Earth ought to be a
lot more fun than ruining it was.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

^_^ Yay I'm done with this Walkthrough now! ^_^

8. GBA/PC Changes
=================

Here are the changes that were made for when Doom II was ported onto the
GameBoy Advance:

1. Enemy blood is now green instead of red. This was to bring the game's rating
from an "M" (Mature) down to a "T" (Teens) in an attempt to make more sales of
this game.

2. Dead enemy bodies disappear after you kill them. This was to keep the game
running at a good speed, but even if the dead body disappears, Arch-viles can
still revive them.

3. The levels "The Industrial Zone", and "The Chasm" are now split into two
levels. This was because these two levels were too big for the game so they
split them into two halves. So in both levels you now have to explore some
areas you didn't need to explore in the PC version.

4. Two music files were taken out. The names were "Getting Too Tense" (Level
28: The Spirit World in the PC version), and "Between Levels" in Level 4: The
Focus in the PC version. I don't know why these two MIDIs were taken out of the
game.

5. You cannot save your game during gameplay. You can only do it when you
finish a level, which kind of stinks.

6. In the secret levels Wolfenstein and Grosse, all pictures of Hitler and any
Nazi symbols were taken out of the game. This was also used to bring the game's
rating down to a T, and in Germany, all symbols and picture that has to do with
the Nazis are forbidden by law in Germany.

9. Codes
========

Here are some codes in the game for you to use if you want to cheat and have
fun. To use these codes, you must pause the game, hold L and R, and then enter
them.

Become Invincible: This will make you invincible from everything, including
enemies, slime pits, and so on. To enter this cheat, hold L and R and press
AABAAAAA and you will become invincible.

Invincibility Off: This is the cheat to turn your invulnerability off. First,
pause the game, hold L and R and press AABABBBB.

All Weapons: Pause the game, hold L and R, and press ABBAAAAA. This will give
you all weapons and 500 of each ammo (even though the maximum isn't that high
for most weapons).

Computer Area Map: Pause the game, hold L and R, and press BAAAAAAA (or just
keep tapping A until you hear a sound). This will give you a full map for the
level you are on, but it will not give you any object indicators.

Berserk: Pause the game, hold L and R, and press BABAAAAA to get yourself a
Berserk. This will last until the rest of the level or if you die.

Temporary Invincibility: Pause the game, hold L and R, and press BBBAAAAA. This
will give you invincibility, except this will be on a time limit.

Radiation Suit: Pause the game, hold L and R, and press BBAAAAAA. This will
give you a Radiation Suit which is on a time limit.
